Calling 911. Teach kids that a 911 emergency is when someone needs help right away because of an injury or an immediate danger. These numbers include: fire department, police department, poison control center, ambulance center, your doctors' phone numbers, contact numbers of neighbors or nearby friends or relatives, and work phone numbers.
